Flourish 1 is a $3,555 home robot you pay for in full today. Only 50 are on offer.

Flourish Robots, a new San Francisco startup, came out of stealth on 29 September with its first robot, Flourish 1. It rolls around your home on a wheeled base and has no legs. It picks things up with gripper arms.

You can pre-order one right now at flourish-robots.com for $3,555. That is the whole price, charged when you order. This first run is limited to 50 units, numbered 01 to 50.

Is it for sale?

Yes. The pre-order is open and you pay the full $3,555 up front.

The good news: Flourish's terms of sale say you can cancel for a full refund any time before your robot ships.

The catch: once it's delivered, that's it. There's no warranty and no returns. Flourish calls it an experimental product for early adopters and says so plainly in its own terms.

As for when it arrives, Flourish says it hopes to ship in December 2026, but calls that a good-faith estimate, not a promise. We'll believe it when one shows up.

What does it cost?

$3,555, paid in full at checkout. Tax, import duties, and shipping are on top. The terms also say some advanced features need either your own extra computing hardware or a paid Flourish service plan, sold separately.

What it is

You teach Flourish 1 a chore by driving it through the task from your phone. After that, the company says, it can repeat the chore on a schedule or when you ask. We haven't seen it do that ourselves.

According to Flourish, it stands 3'7", weighs 44 lb, lifts up to 3.3 lb, and runs about 12 hours on a charge.

The terms are also honest about what it can't do: no stairs, nothing near water, nothing sharp, and it isn't meant for childcare, eldercare, or security. It needs home Wi-Fi, a compatible phone, and a wall outlet.
